Vor rund einem Jahr ist gestartet und hat seitdem eine treue Fangemeinde um sich geschart, die regelmäßig in See sticht. Mit mehreren Erweiterungen und Ingame-Events wurde das Spiel zudem inhaltlich stark ausgebaucht. Zum ersten Geburtstag gibt es nun ein großes Anniversary Update mit zahlreichen Neuerungen.

Wann kommt das Anniversary Update für Sea of Thieves?

Auf das Update müssen Freibeuter nicht lange warten: Die neuen Inhalte zum ersten Geburtstag kommen bereits am 30. April und sind dann für alle Spieler auf Xbox One und PC verfügbar.

Welche neuen Inhalte gibt es?

Das Anniversary Update bringt drei große neue inhaltliche Blöcke ins Spiel. Der neue Handelsbund “The Hunter’s Call” bringt neue Aufgaben für Einzelgänger und Crews und bietet die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem Ruhm und der Ehre des Titels “Piratenlegende” zu schmücken.

Die “Tall Tales” bringen nach und nach Story-Kampagnen ins Spiel, die Freibeuter sowohl allein als auch mit einer Mannschaft in Angriff nehmen können. Die erste Kampagne trägt den Namen “Shores of Gold”.

Außerdem enthält das Anniversary Update einen Modus, auf den viele Spieler schon lange warten: The Arena ist ein dedizierter PvP-Modus, bei dem zwei Mannschaften gegeneinander antreten. Dabei geht es aber nicht um plumpe Abschüsse der Gegner, sondern darum, welches Team zuerst die Schatzkarte entziffert und das Versteck gefunden hat. Allerdings ist es erst vorbei, wenn der Schatz auch abgegeben wurde, weshalb Seeschlachten ganz oben auf der Tagesordnung stehen.

43 neue Achievements für Sea of Thieves

Zusätzlich zu den neuen Inhalten gibt es auch passend ganze 43 neue Achievements. Die Liste unterhalb liegt bisher nur auf Englisch vor, wir werden die deutschen Entsprechungen aber sobald wie möglich nachliefern.
